Iris laevigata & hybrids (Japanese Water Iris or Kakitsubata)

Iris laevigata (from Japan) are true water irises that must be grown in water. Very attractive when used in display gardens. Approximate growth is 1m in height under ideal conditions. Dispatch anytime of the year unless specified.

Iris laevigata 'Colchesterensis' (Japanese Water Iris)
Also known as "Iris laevigata 'Albopurpurea Colchesterensis'" or "Iris laevigata 'Colchesteri'" and are sometimes mistaken for a similar cultivar "Albopurpurea Monstrosa". This iris has very attractive petals heavily tinted with deep blue patches. Stylearms are fully white and short yellow signals. Rare.
