(Pring, 1942) A small growing waterlily with attractive highly flecked medium to deep pink flowers. Slightly fragrant. Bronzed dark green leaves that are very rarely splashed with purple. Not to be confused with the similar cultivar Laydekeri Lilacea that has more colourful leaves. It is said to be a natural pink variant of the species Nymphaea tetragona. Rare.

Nymphaea 'Laydekeri Lilacea' (Hardy Waterlily)
(Latour-Marliac, 1893) Beautiful lilac pink flowers deepening each day to carmine or pinkish-red at the centre of the flower with age. Purplish-green leaves blotched and splashed with purplish-brown towards edge of the leaves. It is much smaller growing than the cultivar Joanne Pring. The much more colourful leaves is one of the distinctive difference between the two varieties. Sweet tea-like fragrance. Rare.

(Strawn, 1997) Very beautiful lemon sherbet coloured flowers. Strong lemon fragrance. Green leaves that are initially blotched brown. Unique leaf undersides that are plain reddish brown in colour instead of speckled patterns that are common in other yellow hardy waterlily hybrids. A more recent hybrid by Kirk Strawn.

The fragrance is sweet and flower is large and in a neat globular shape. Leaves are purplish-green ageing to dark green. One of the more recent Perry Slocum hybrids. Rare.
